A new exhibition is being held, with free entry, by Hengistbury Land Train in celebration of it's 50th anniversary. Limited edition souvenirs will be available for purchace to comemorate this special occasion. Come and reminisce over the 50 years of nostalgia, headlines and happiness!

Try out your pot making skills such as slab, coil and thumb techniques, in addition to learning glazing and underglazing your pottery. Get creative, making your own sculptures and pots, to be kiln fired and taken home for your enjoyment.

Sand Art uses colourful sand to make wonderful pictures. The workshops are incredible fun, not only for the children, but the parents too. Sand Art is engaging and addictive, giving children the instant satisfaction and enjoyment that they love.

Come and join the informal and friendly group of writers at Hengistbury Head. All abilities are welcomed, from novices to novelists. Whatever your particular writing interests are, come and share your ideas and experience, as well as recieve some helpful feedback. Hot drinks and biscuits are also provided. There is no need to book in advance and the event is free, but there is a suggested donation of £2.
